For over 15 years, the magazine has shared information on the wide variety of businesses in Kailua and the types of services they offer the community. Whether you're new to town, have lived here for many years, or are visiting for a short time, our goal is to provide new and interesting information about Kailua's businesses and the people who run them.

About the Publisher

Rebecca Cummings moved to Oahu in 2005 and has called Kailua home ever since. Working in the visitor publishing industry for 7 years and working on a number of freelance writing projects built the foundation for her to take the reins of Kailua Town Magazine. She is passionate about promoting Kailua's local businesses and sharing the things that make them special. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Kailua Chamber of Commerce since 2019 and has been leading the Kailua Chamber as President since Jan. 2025. She can be found running, walking and biking around Kailua, typically accompanied by a dog. Daisy, her English bulldog. is her common sidekick these days.
